I recently upgraded from an old chest freezer. Although it definitely fit the bill when my kids were young, the slightly smaller upright freezer is perfect for me now. The shelving is well spaced, the lighting is good and the bonus running light and alarm if the door is left open are appreciated. I'm also looking forward to it being frost-free! I ordered direct from Frigidaire, and shipping was prompt and delivery was easy.

wish the plug cord was longer

I am very happy with the size and space for food, I wish the plug was a little longer, this is in the garage and the plugs are at chest hight and the freezer cord misses by 1 foot! Says not to use an extension cord but I am and I hope it won't be a problem down the line. But I like the green light on the ground when the freezer is in use so I can see if the plug clicks off

So far my 13 cubic foot frost free upright garage ready freezer is functioning as advertised. Love the green light at the bottom that lets you know that everything is fine. It is extremely quiet and fits next to our garage refrigerator. I decided to use baskets for storing in order to keep things organized. Keeps freezing up

This freezer froze up soon after I bought it. It was repaired by a tech that the company sent out only to freeze up again several months later. Was told it was the wrong part and another tech was sent out. Last night it froze up again, same thing all over. It is no longer in warranty but it is the original problem.
