My previous air conditioner was approximately 10 years old did a decent job but it could not cool off my room so well in such a short time. The best feature is the convenient app and wifi ability. Bought it from BJs in August 2022.Pros: * pretty quite * it is compact * fantastically doing its job as a 12000 BTU.* WiFi function is a great feature * easy to clean up the filter* remote functions are okay (it has few cons)* phone app is awesome Cons:* Unit has no past mode features. Means, if it was on lower fan mode during your last use, it will not be on lower mode when you turn on the unit. It will directly go to the auto mode.* behind the unit, there is NO protective features on AC coils. During my installation, the coils were bending even if a small touch. * Unit must needs a shade for winter. Because, upper cover has big ventilation holes. Snow will definitely go inside the unit.

This is the second Frigidaire air conditioning that I have purchased the second one was due to the fact that the first Frigidaire air conditioning cease to function in and it was brand new I thought I would give Frigidaire a second opportunity and purchased a 12,000 BTU which was more powerful than the previous Frigidaire and to my disappointment this 12,000 BTU does not cool as efficiently as other model air-conditioners that I have purchased in the past. This time however I am prepared as I have purchased a protection plan!
