Love my move to Induction

Upgrade off 30+ year old fridge turned into upgrade of all our kitchen appliances. From old Tappan 13-3087 to Frigidaire 30™€ induction cooktop. Once we got used to the controls we started immediately appreciating the upgrade. It has the responsiveness of GAS! So you can start high and dial down with almost immediate cooktop reaction. It™€™s a little weird to have the burner pads sense the pan being lifted from the stove and start to turn off if the pan to stove separation period last more than a few seconds. I have to remind myself when making popcorn to ™€œNOT™€ move the pan back and forth on the cooktop to avoid scratching the glass top. But we really like the sensitivity and overall safety of this cooktop! Get one and don™€™t procrastinate like we did for years and years.

Very happy moving from element to induction. Touch controls and operation are a little tricky and you will need to get used to it. But once you do you should be very impressed and happy with it. The speed and control with induction is amazing. Was also an easy replacement install.just remember if you are installing into a granite countertop you will need adhesive for the brackets.

I bought this range in June 2022 had installed in November. Noticed the top had a small separation around one of the magnets. Called had service come out look at it. You can feel ridge in a round patten of burner. They claim it is a cosmetic damage and manufacturers warranty does not cover. It is obviously a manufacturer defect . Very displeased with costumer service.

Was not going to buy an Induction vs electric, but this one was priced under 1K and replacing the pots and pans wasn't all that expensive, under $200 to replace, and some like stainless steel and ceramics still worked. Love it so far, cooks better than gas. Easy to install if your 220 is already in, black, red, ground.

Ordered our Frigidaire induction cooktop from lowes and installed myself. Cooktop packed well and arrived in good condition. Installation instructions were clear, the unit fit countertop well and electrical connections were straight forward. I really like that this unit is relatively shallow and takes up minimal under counter space. Performance has been good and the unit is relatively quiet (the cooling fan is barely audible). Overall we are very happy with the looks and performance.

Just purchased this cooktop and am disappointed so far. The large burners on the cooktop only heat the middle of the pan which doesn™€™t seem like a good design. I called the Frigidaire service number and they sent someone out to check the unit and he told me this is how it is supposed to function. I was hesitant to get an induction cooktop, between the price, and not knowing how to cook on them, and the concern of needing to change out all my cookware. But when I got a great deal at a local business, and a rebate on multiple appliance (our fridge died the same week), I bit the bullet. Turns out it works great with all my cast iron, and Frigidaire was running a promo for a free set of pans with purchase. So, I really had no reason not to do it.It boils water in less than a minute, sometimes even less than 30 seconds depending on size of pot. It cooks evenly. It's a very smart appliance honestly, I don't have to worry about my toddler accidentally turning it on because it's a two step process. If you remove the pan for 30 seconds it will give you a warning beep and then shut off, which I find a pleasing safety feature, but it also hear back up and cools down SO fast. And it's so easy to clean, the only thing I've had to scrape off is some corn syrup, everything else just easily wipes away, even bacon grease. I'm so happy with our cooktop and highly recommend.

Having owned two other "glass" cooktops prior, this cooktop is the best by far. While the other two previous cooktops were not induction cooktops, the user controls on this cooktop are superior to the two previous cooktops. The two left side small burners can be simultaneously joined to cook on rectangular griddle pans or used independently for smaller cookware. The two larger burners are more than adequate for 12" fry pans or 8 quart stock pots. I highly recommend this cook top.

Received the cooktop fairly quickly and installation was easy. Still learning the sweet spot for cooking since I'm so used to long warm-up times. It heats up very quickly and the time boiling water has been cut by basically half. It is however surprisingly loud, but that's normal apparently. I do wish the two burners on the right were not quite so close together because when stirring I'd accidentally get whatever liquid was in one pan into the other. So far that's the only downside.

Excellent upgrade from gas

Delighted with our Frigidaire induction cooktop. Smooth, responsive controls with incredibly fast heating. Can simmer sauce without burning and cleans up with ease. Surface, when covered with a dish towel doubles as a pot drying station after meals.
